Centre Miriam (Miriam Home and Services)
The ultimate purpose of Miriam Home and Services  is to ensure that persons with intellectual disabilities be seen and treated as persons, experience love and friendship, experience continuity in their lives, be afforded personal security, be adaptively cared for, be treated with respect and dignity, have access to opportunities to make choices and exercise their rights, learn skills, be given means to compensate for their deficiencies and disabilities, have a decent and appropriate place to live, have a meaningful employment or occupation and have life-long opportunities for growth.

CLSC (Local Community Service Centre's)

CLSC's offer various family support services, such as a respite-sitter program. An amount of money is given annually to certain families to help alleviate the cost of respite services. Note that the services and conditions differ depending on the CLSC.

Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal (Darlington)
The Institute de readaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montreal (IRGLM) is the result of the 2008 merger of the institute de readaptation de Montreal and of the Lindsay Rehabilitation Hospital. It's 800 employees and physicians work in a dynamic and warm environment to allow people with severe physical disabilities to develop their full potential for independance. The IRGLM caters to an adult clientele that can present with physical disabilities resulting from temporary or permanent physical disabilities due to illness, trauma or congenital conditions.
